Dr Frank Fan has had thorough training in all aspects of medicine

Dr Gang Fan, or “Frank” as he is known in England studied at the University in Shandong in North West China. His studies took 5 years before he went on to practise Traditional Chinese Medicine or TCM in the Shandong Hospital alongside “western” orientated medicine. He worked in the hospital for 11 years before coming to England in 2002. Since he first decided he wanted to be a doctor of TCM, Frank’s dream was to own his own business and Golden Health is the realisation of that dream.

Frank is passionate about his profession and is dedicated to continuous professional development in order to bring good health to his patients. Frank considers TCM to be both an art and a science and his skill is to blend the different parts of it together to create the right recipe for each individual no matter who they are or what their complaint.

Helen McPherson studied with one of the most acclaimed Hypnotherapists in the country

Helen's interest in complementary therapy began 10 years ago with a visit to a nutritionist. That visit was life-changing and she has been studying complementary therapy ever since, including qualifying as a Clinical Hypnotherapist.

"To change somebody’s future from discontentment to success gives me enormous pride and pleasure, whether it is helping someone to conceive a baby, have a comfortable labour, give up a smoking habit, book a holiday by overcoming their fear of flying or calm down to live their life free of anxiety. What I do is life-changing and there is nothing better than seeing the faces of those people that I have helped when they have achieved their goal."

Helen's special interest is fertility, pregnancy and birth. She is particularly kowledgeable of IVF and assisted conception techniques and enjoys supporting couples through the experience. Helen has strong links to Care Northampton, the fertility clinic in Northampton.

Helen is a Nationally Registered Hypnotherapist, is member of the General Hypnotherapy Register and also a member of the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners.

Tamsin Wallace trained at the Northern Institute of Remedial Massage

Tamsin became interested in massage therapy by first experiencing it for herself. She soon realised the benefits of therapeutic remedial massage and could see the satisfaction she would gain by helping people in this way.  "I get a tremendous amount of satisfaction helping people and feel very lucky to be able to pass on a great sense of well being to my clients."

Remedial massage can be used to help with chronic or acute musculo-skeletal problems.  It can be beneficial for muscle tone, stress, repetitive strain problems.  Also new mums can gain benefit from massage due to lifting, carrying and bending with their new children or it can just be for a relaxation treatment due to the stresses and strains of everyday life.
