Golden Health offers a range of holistic treatments and we are truly complementary to any other treatment you are receiving. Our bodies are designed to heal themselves but sometimes they need extra help. Where Western medicine does not always have all the answers we can very often help. Our most popular therapy is Acupuncture but this is part of a holistic treatment of the individual, which is the very essence of TCM. We also offer Chinese Herbs, Remedial and Sports Massage, Acupressure Massage, Reflexology, Reiki healing and Hypnotherapy.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been practised for over 3000 years and in China it is used effectively alongside “conventional” medicine in hospitals. Its use is gathering popularity in the UK now as it is realised that western medicine alone is often not effective at treating many chronic conditions.
Since opening our Acupuncture and TCM practice in Daventry we have had success in treating and improving many chronic cases, particularly migraine headaches, symptoms of stroke, menopause and Multiple Sclerosis, Psoriasis and Infertility. TCM can however be effective for many more conditions and can be used to support the body during “conventional” treatment including IVF and cancer.
At Golden Health we will assess both mind and body and develop a treatment strategy which is individual to you.
Our specialisations are natural fertility tretaments and support to IVF using complementary health methods - acupuncture, hypnosis, lifestyle and nutrition advice. Our other specialist treatment is for back and joint problems using acupuncture and massage.
After an initial free consultation, the treatment will be explained to you and you will then decide whether to proceed. We are passionate about good health and well-being and if there is a health problem that is bothering you we would urge you to pick up the phone and talk to us.
All our practitioners are registered in the UK and are members of professional bodies. They are fully insured and and conform to strict codes of ethics.
